Meet René de Waele, the visionary inventor and IT Director behind Flux. René is a master of simplicity and customer-centered software innovation, holding a solid Ph.D. in Physics. With a dedicated passion for creating awesome products, he began his journey in software development nearly a decade ago.
Irritated by the needless complexities that were slowing down software development, he launched Flux. This groundbreaking Application Operating System (AOS) enables software teams to accelarate their development to change-changing heights while integrating security, scalability, and performance at the core of its architecture.
At Portbase, a key figure in the Netherlands' port logistics, Flux has maintained an impeccable record for over five years, experiencing no downtime incidents whatsoever. Under René's leadership, Flux has delivered astonishing outcomes, overhauling existing software in just weeks rather than years, slashing code volumes often by over 90%, reducing engineering expenses significantly, and achieving an impressive acceleration in time-to-market by 10 to 100 times.

Introducing Erhan Demirel, the Managing Director at Flux. He's a dedicated business leader with a wealth of experience across numerous tech organizations.
Prior to joining Flux, Erhan spearheaded efforts that doubled the performance of more than 30 software teams. His impressive track record features servant leadership roles at notable companies such as Rabobank, Bol.com, Sentinels, Freo, NN Group, Greenwheels, and Portbase, to name a few.
While working at Portbase, he witnessed a remarkable 10-100x boost in team performance with the introduction of Flux. Motivated by a passion for enhancing organizational success and understanding that the tech stack, not processes, was the performance bottleneck, he joined Flux as director to extend this performance leap to other tech companies.
